This is the time to put the spotlight on all of the talented artists of the Trickster Online REVOLUTION community!

This is the Loading-Screen Artwork Contest!

How:

All participating players will need to post your artwork in JPEG format with a file size of 1024 x 768.
Be as creative as possible. You are allowed to post multiple pieces of artwork.
Please keep all artwork Trickster themed and involving Trickster characters.
(no screenshots, existing Trickster artwork or alteration of existing Trickster artwork)

Why:

We know that we have a bunch of talented players, and we would like to thank the players by give you the opportunity to show that talent off.

The winner of this contest will be decided by the Trickster Online REVOLUTION team. Once the winners have been decided, the chosen piece of art will then be used as the Trickster Online REVOLUTION Loading-Screen for a set duration of time, for all to see.
(There will be 10 wining art pieces!)

What not to post:

Please keep all posts appropriate and in observance of the TOS (Terms of Service Agreement).
Please stay on topic, all player posts that do not include original artwork will be removed.
Please post the same piece of artwork once, and only once.
Multiple pieces of art sumitted by the same player should be posted as seperate posts.

Extra! Extra! Exciting Poppuri News Pt. 2!

Greetings Tricksters!

Megalo Company is proud to announce, that we will be bringing some remarkable new features to the Poppuri Olympic Drilling Event!

In addition, The Trickster GMs will be on the lookout for the hardest working drillers. How will the GM's know, they'll be drilling at different locations throughout the day. Keep on drilling folks. Poppuri is just getting started.

Here's a sneak peak at one of the reward items for the Poppuri Olympic Drilling Competition! There will be more of these previews to come!

Today's preview item is the Poppuri Sprint. The Poppuri Sprint is a World premier item designed just for this event and our Tricksters! This sprint item features a very cute Poppuri design.

Sorry for the delayed posts of topics. But soon I would be posting some guides & helpful tips for Trickster Players. I would also be citing some walkthroughs made by other players, which I really recommend.

I hope this blog will be much of a help to current Trickster Players, and encourage others to try & play Trickster Online.

The Hidden Story

5 years ago, Don Cavalier was visiting a certain European city to participate in the “Global-wide Game Show”, the world’s largest gaming festival.

While walking around, he became interested in an auction going on near the festivities and decided to take a closer look. He was a man who loved to collect and display rare antiques and soon became fascinated with a piece of a scroll that was available in the auction donated by one of the local, roving gypsies.

Suddenly, and without apparent reason, he jumped into the auction and outbid everyone for the scroll.

The scroll was made with white whale leather and was covered in small text written with ink made from a mixture of black shellfish, fish oil, and seaweed pigments. It contained the history of the ancient lost city of “Altheo.” Always looking for new ideas for his games, Don Cavalier sensed that this strange piece of history would come in handy someday.

After the discovery of this strange scroll, a year has now passed and a strange island has appeared in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Because of the similarities shared by the island and the mythic island described in his scroll, Don Cavalier believed that this new island must be part of the lost Altheo Kingdom. He immediately purchased the island and renamed it Caballa Island after himself. Soon after, he brought the top staff from the Megalo Company, and began his final secret project. Don Cavalier’s final master piece, “Trickster” was born after more than 4 years of development. No doubt it received more attention because of the sudden death of its producer as well as its involvement in his final will and testament.

The Caballa Island is believed to have thousands and thousands of hidden cards buried within it. These cards are absolutely necessary for advancing in the game as well as for their special abilities in fending off monsters. But not all the cards are planted by Don Cavalier as 16 original cards were already buried in the island long before he arrived.

Legend has it that these special cards can only be distinguished by people with unique abilities. For others, these cards will look and feel like any other cards because they were made from the extracts of a special jewel known as “Harkon.” Also known as the Legendary Rainbow Jewel, Harkon reflects off light in 7 different colors and also emits an ultra ray that that disguises its presence to ordinary people. This is the reason why those who don’t have the unique ability will not be able to distinguish it from others jewels. However, if you are lucky enough to have that unique ability to distinguish Harkon, and if you can collect all of the 16 special cards, you will have a complete map which will direct you to a hidden area. This is the ulterior motive behind Don Cavalier’s plan. The only ones who can find such map are the select few who are descendents of the Trickster (It could be you) and their abilities will be tested in this special quest, throughout the game.

Heroes and becoming heroes “Do it with Trickster~!”

The word “Trickster” appears in many of the old myths and folktales. They take the form of animals or a hybrid of human and animal together. The Tricksters usually strive for complete freedom and tend to face their destiny head on. They enjoy jokes and tricks but they don’t mean any harm. However, since they are not perfect, they sometimes have less than perfect judgment and can sometimes get into trouble.

It was believed that the Altheans called people who could control the mysterious powers of Harkon, Tricksters, and idolized them as their heroes. If you are one of these special individuals, and can realize the power hidden inside of you, that mysterious power of Trickster, then you can find the mystic map Don Cavalier was after. If you can distinguish those 16 special cards, you definitely are the descendant of Altheans and you will soon be able to harness and control the powers of Harkon.

Legendary Jewel, “Harkon”

Reflecting light in 7 different colors, Harkon was the most sacred treasure for the Altheans as well as the prominent focus of their culture.

It emits a prism of 7 distinct and different colors, just like a rainbow but to see all of them you need a unique ability to recognize the ultra ray. For this reason, an ordinary person has no way of identifying Harkon which leaves the existence of Harkon as a myth yet to be proven. Right in the middle of Altheo stands a sculpture made with pure Harkon and this sculpture has a special power to draw in all other Harkon stones. That is why Harkon stones are only found in Alteras Mountains where the Altheo Kingdom was originally located.

To get to Altheo, you not only need to collect all 16 special cards, but you will also need a compass made with Harkon stone. These two items will lead you to the largest Harkon stone hidden inside the lost city of Altheo called “Blessing of Poseidon.” Possession of this stone will lead to untold adventure, riches and glory. This was the final wish for all who would take it, from Don Cavalier, in Trickster.

Trickster Story

At around 2am, on November 9th, 2006, Don Cavalier, the billionaire eccentric and founder of the world’s greatest game development house, Megalo Company, passed away. It was never released whether or not there was a specified successor or successors to Don Cavalier’s fortune, however, after much reported strife within the Megalo Company headquarters the company, and its acting head, Don Giuvanni, did finally release a holographic recording, presumed to have been made by the late Don Cavalier himself. The recording is said to include his final will and testament, and the following transcript from the solitary broadcast of that recording seems to make it clear:

"I, Don Cavalier, would like to leave a final will and testament regarding my fortune.

First of all, the one thing all of you are curious about would be who will inherit all of my fortune, I am not going to select a single inheritor. On the contrary, I want to share it with everyone who wants a part of it. However, there is a slight catch. There is a desert island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean which will be the stage of my final masterpiece,"Trickster Online Revolution."

I want to invite everyone who wishes to take part in this one, last, and final, game, to join the fun! The winner of winners will inherit my fortune.

Enjoy, explore, and get rick~! Pwuhahahahaha~!!!"

According to reports regarding the broadcast of this recording, as well as from important sources within the offices of Megalo Company itself, it has never been officially confirmed whether the holographic recording, was in fact authentic. Regardless of the authenticity of the hologram itself, one thing can’t be denied, and that is that Megalo Company is fully endorsing the final will and testament going so far as to transform Caballa Island itself into the home of Trickster Online Revolution!

People with different reasons and purposes have been continuously arriving to the island, since the game has begun. Now, the stage is set for the final chapter in the legacy of a great and noted contributor to the world of gaming. All eyes are on Caballa Island and the residents therein, making the dream of a truly massive virtual reality game that was the simple vision of one visionary, into an actual reality. And for all the Tricksters out there, drilling, leveling, making friends and conquering monsters in spectacular adventures unlike any other in the world, good luck!
